Fairy Door...

Hi all, Hopefully everyone has had a lovely, sunny Bank Hols....talk about gorgeous weather...hope it stays a while longer....

Only here to show this little Fairy door I made, it will go onto a tree in the back garden where, I hope, Jacob can let his imagination run wild, well, eventually...but you have to be prepared don't you...!!!

Made from clay, very simply to do, just roll out to size required, lots of scores to give wood effect, little hinges and door handle made with left over bits, once dry, [which takes a while, no point standing there drumming your fingers girls, not going to happen over night...] painted with a mix of acrylics and finally top coated with a few coats of varnish....now waiting on a helper, these days I can't kneel so well , so it's a case of waiting........

Don't forget to make holes for the nails to fix it all up....can't wait, got to do the steps now, and someone mentioned a window....

I merged two of the images we were given from our sponsor, coloured them with Flex markers DP is Grafix craft sensations-Beach Life, gorgeous quality papers, pc generated the sentiment and used Glossy accents from Ranger....ribbon is stash....

Good morning, what a week, it's been and gone in a flash.....the weather is off it's nut as per usual and I am wearing a BP monitor....oh it's all good...haha...

Right then, lets get on with it, this is my week to choose a theme, so ANYTHING GOES.....[.everytime I write that down I can hear the song...was it Ethel Merman..???????....lol...showing my age now...]

Here is my card using Aurora Floral Kiss...

I used flex markers to colour her in, if you think she looks abit 'spotty' it's because, after spending an age colouring, I sprayed it with the usual spray and shine and when it dried it was just not right, now I never have a problem as a rule, but the card I used is a different brand....not again....

The DP is from  CraftSensations, 'vintage romance', really beautiful quality paper, the frame was sent to me by a friend a while ago......ribbon from stash and  wording die is TH..
